I'm very new to Spiceworks, so if anybody answers, please let me know if more or less information is necessary to answer this question. However my question is, why cant I create rules from within the desktop app? We then created a new rule, and ran the rule. We did try to create a rule within outlook via the cloud (through the browser, online) This did work by going to the top right had corner and choosing to open another email account. (btw both accounts are in the same domain in Exchange) An object could not be found’ pops up.Īfter working with a Microsoft engineer he started troubleshooting by removing and re-adding the delegated email from the Clients outlook via Windows Power Shell, he said this would remove the automapping of the 2 accounts (the Clients account and the delegated email account). However when she chooses an email from within the delegated email's inbox, and attempts to create a new rule, the error: ‘The operation failed. And she can do the usual things with the delegated email, (send and receive, send on behalf of the delegate, ect.) I gave the client all 3 permissions in the Admin Center. Is there any possible way to create Inbox rules for a delegated email account? In this situation, one client has her work email on Outlook 2016 using Exchange.
